Emerging biomarkers in oncology research and practice
Cancer Cell International is now accepting submissions to be considered for publication in a thematic series on ‘Emerging biomarkers in oncology research and practice’. The collection, guest edited by Dr Aejaz Nasir, MD, MPhil, FCAP, will also include commissioned reviews from leading experts in the field.
This thematic series of state-of-the-science publications aims to cover cutting-edge developments in the field of oncology and pathology with reference to diagnostic, prognostic, predictive and pharmacodynamics biomarkers. It will include articles on recent advances in discovery, methodology development, analytical and clinical validation and clinical qualification of novel tissue-based oncology biomarkers. It will also include articles demonstrating the clinical utility and value of promising tissue-biomarkers in advancing the development of targeted therapeutics in oncology clinical trials and practice. Importantly, each study must be supported by solid cell line data or tissue based molecular experimentation.
We invite you to submit original research, expert reviews and novel hypotheses on topics relating to emerging biomarkers in the field of precision oncology. The deadline for submissions is 30 April 2018.
