Examples of high, medium, and low VEGF-expressing tumours (MoCR metastases growing in the liver) are shown for both control and treated animals (from left to right, respectively). Tumour (T) and infiltrating (I) cells are indicated. ELISA was used to examine VEGF secreted into medium conditioned by MoCR cells treated with CGP42112A at either 1 μM or 0.1 μM in a background of 0.1% FBS/RPMI. Significant P values are shown with an * and solid line, while those of interest with P values between 0.1 and 0.05 are indicated with a dotted line and no *. Data are presented as mean ± S.E.M.
