Effect of Hex, Chl and MeOH extracts on caspase-8 activity in K562 cells. Lysates obtained from cells treated with Nitraria retusa leaf extracts 24 h and 48 h were assayed for in vitro caspase-8 activity. The rate of cleavage of the caspase substrate IETD-p NA was measured at 405 nm. The results are presented as the mean ± SD. The experiments were done in triplicate.
