The HL-60 leukemic cell lineage is more sensitive to H 2 O 2 than normal hematopoietic cells. After stimuli with H2O2 in vitro ( ranging from 0 to 100 μM), BM, UCB and HL-60 cells were collected and labeled with annexin-V and 7-AAD for the quantification of viable and dead cells by flow cytometry. (A) The dose–response curves show that HL-60 cells display increased sensitivity to H2O2. (B) Representative dot plots showing the percentage of dead cells for each cell type. The data are expressed as the mean ± SEM of independent experiments performed in duplicate. BM n = 5, UCB and HL-60, n = 3 (3 independent experiments in duplicate).
