Results showed that the expression level of PTEN protein was significantly lower in cells co-transfected with anti-miR-214 and siRNA-PTEN as compared to the cells transfected with anti-miR-214 and control siRNA. Cell vability was detected by MTT assay (C), population doubling time determination (D), proliferative index (E), clonogenic assay (F), migration and invasion assay (G, H) as described in materials and methods. Results showed that the proliferative capacity of cells co-transfected with anti-miR-214 and siRNA-PTEN was significantly higher than that of cells co-transfected with anti-miR-214 and control siRNA.
