MHCII inducibility can be restored in LS1034 colon carcinoma cells by a clinically tested PKC activator Bryostatin 1. Cells were incubated in culture medium contaning various concentrations of IFNg, PMA or Bryostatin for 48 hr. Different combinations of IFNg and PMA or IFNg and Bryostatin were compared to treatment with IFNg alone (the group indicated by the circle). Experiment was replicated 3 times. Mean values ± sd are plotted. Asterisks indicate the significant differences on post-hoc tests (* P < 0.05 by Tukey's HSD test). The potentiating effect of Bryostatin reached a plateau at a concentration of 10 ng/ml.
