Effect of paclitaxel and SB -T- 1216 on the activation and activity of caspase- 3 in SK -BR- 3 cells. After 0, 12, 24 and 36 h of incubation with paclitaxel or SB-T-1216 (100 nM), levels of (A) procaspase-3 and cleaved caspase-3 as well as (B) levels of PARP were determined using western blot analysis and relevant antibodies (see “Materials an methods”). Actin levels were used to confirm equal protein loading. The data shown were obtained in one representative experiment of two independent experiments.
