Sch B reduces the proliferation and viability of glioma cells. A. U87 and U251 cells were treated with various concentrations of Sch B for 24, 48 and 72 h. Cell viability and IC₅₀ values were measured using the MTT assay. B and C. U87 and U251 cells were treated with Sch B(4, 8, 16μmol/L ) for 48 h and were then allowed to form colonies in fresh medium for 14 days. Representative Giemsa staining pictures of the colonies were shown (B). The numbers of colonies of U87 and U251 cells (C) were counted.
