Flow cytometry apoptosis detection of the HepG2, T47D and HCT116 cells treated with the 3-NC. The cells were treated with indicated concentrations (IC50 values) of the 3-NC and harvested after 48 and 72 h for double staining (Annexin V/PI) flow cytometric assay. As is evident from Figure, after 72 h, a shift occurred from early apoptosis (lower-right quadrant) to late apoptosis or necrosis (upper-right quadrant). The results are those of two independent experiments
