Stress-induced endocytosis is coordinated with the degradation of EGFR. The same batch of HeLa cells were used for examining the time scale of stress-induced endocytosis and degradation analyzed by immunofluorescent staining (A) or immunoblotting (B) with anti-EGFR(1005). The treatment of anisomycin or UV irradiation in samples for examination of EGFR endocytosis (immunofluorescent staining) was performed in parallel with that for immunofluorescent staining. The experimental procedures were the same as described in Figs. 1 and 2. Bar 20 μm
