Long-term TMZ treatment increases the resistance to TMZ re-challenge but not to TEM or U0126 treatment. a–c Proliferation of a vehicle or TMZ (20 or 100 µM), TEM (2 µM) or U0126 (10 µM) treated cells was compared. U251, T98G (5 × 104 cells) and C6 (1 × 104 cells) derivatives were treated for 7 days with a single dose of TMZ, TEM, or U0126 or a vehicle (DMSO did not exceed 0.1 % by volume).
