LDH absorbance: higher LDH absorbance values indicate a larger proportion of damaged cells in the sample. Similar to the CellTiter-Glo^® assay, there is an increase in values from days 1–3 during the active remodeling phase, which continues and stabilizes during the compaction phase on days 3–5.
