SFRP1 mRNA expression was down-regulated in primary human colorectal cancer. a Relative mRNA expression of SFRP1 by RT-PCR. b Relative protein expression of SFRP1 by Western blot. RT-PCR was performed on 42 paired colorectal cancer and pericarcinomatous tissues. GAPDH was used as a control for cDNA synthesis. Blue column and purple column indicated samples of pericarcinomatous tissues and colorectal cancer, respectively. SFRP1 mRNA expression was down-regulated in the colorectal cancer compared to pericarcinomatous tissues. The results mentioned above were confirmed by Western blot analysis of three random selected paired samples
