Effect of TMZ and LEV combined treatment on GCSC proliferation. GCSC neurospheres derived from GBM of six different patients were treated with TMZ (250 µM), LEV (40 μg/mL) or with a combination of TMZ and LEV for 48 h. Cell proliferation was evaluated by BrdU incorporation. The results were representative of three independent experiments. Statistical analysis was performed using Mann–Whitney test *p < 0.05 (a) and Student’s t-test (b). P value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant
