Proteins involved in EMT and STAT3 pathway were determined by western-blot analysis in both in SW480 and HCT116 cell lines. HOXB8 depletion increased the expression of E-cadherin and decreased the expression of Vimentin, N-cadherin, Twist, Zeb1 and Zeb2.p-STAT3 is low expression along with the low level of HOXB8 expression while STAT3 expression stays stable
