Model of cell death mechanisms induced by CIB1 depletion alone or in combination with docetaxel/TRAIL. The combination of CIB1 targeting via RNA interference and docetaxel/TRAIL activates both apoptotic and non-apoptotic (paraptotic) signaling to induce TNBC-selective cell death and overcome chemo-resistance.
