Knockdown of WWTR1 partially inhibits proliferation of AGS cells. Endogenous WWTR1 in AGS cells was depleted by lentiviral vector-loaded shWWTR1-1 or shWWTR1-2 for 48 h and detected by immunoblotting with anti-WWTR1 and anti-CYR61 from the cell lysates. The effect of WWTR1 knockdown on cell proliferation was quantified by counting the cell number under a phase microscope with a hemocytometer.
