PTP1B is highly expressed in human breast tissues and is positively correlated to UCA1 level. a The expression of PTP1B examined by IHC staining in human breast tissues exhibited a much higher expression in the tumor tissues than the normal peritumor tissues. b PTP1B expression measured by qRT-PCR also showed a significant higher expression in the tumor tissues than the normal peritumor tissues assay in human breast cancer tissues and their paired noncancerous tissues (p < 0.001 by Wilcoxon’s signed-rank test). c Pearson’s correlation analysis on PTP1B expression and UCA1 level based on qRT-PCR data in breast tumor tissues suggested a strong positive correlation, with a correlation coefficient of 0.8143 (p < 0.001, n = 35)
