LRSAM1 promotes the growth of human HCC cells in conventional culture conditions. Human HCC cell lines (Huh7, HepG2, Sk-Hep1 and BEL-7404) were transfected with non-targeting control (NC) siRNA or LRSAM1 siRNAs. Forty-eight hours later, the cells were subjected to Western blot analysis for LRSAM1 expression (a), cell counting daily for 3 consecutive days to examine the growth rate (b), and cell cycle analysis (c).
