MiR-96-3p is up-regulated in the PTC tissues and the PTC cell lines. The relative miR-96-3p is dramatically increased in PTC tissues compared with adjacent normal thyroid tissues by real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) assay (n = 28; a). The relative miR-96-3p is significant up-regulated in PTC cell lines compared with a normal human thyroid epithelial cell line, Nthy-ori 3-1 (b).
