After MCCC2 knockdown, absence of leucine failed to inhibit the biological characteristics of SMMC-7721 cells. a Sg-MCCC2 and vector plasmids were stably infected into SMMC-7721 cells. The same number of cells was plated into 96-well plates and cultured under normal or leucine-free− conditions, and the number and viability of the cells were determined every day by CCK-8 assay. b–g Colony-formation, Wound-healing, and Transwell assays were performed with SMMC-7721 cells treated as described above
