BRD4 regulates CAV-2 transcriptional activity. a ChIP results showed that BRD4 can directly bind to the promoter region (0 ~ − 500 bp, − 500 ~ − 1000 bp and − 1000 ~ − 1500 bp) of CAV-2. b Compared to BRD4-nc group, BRD4-si1 exhibited a reduced BRD4 recruitment to CAV-2 promoter. c Luciferase reporter experiment suggested that BRD4 had transcriptional activity at the − 1500 ~ 0 bp promoter region of CAV-2. After interfering with BRD4 expression, the transcriptional activation of CAV-2 could be inhibited. The asterisk indicates that p is less than 0.05
