Overview of CAR-T cell therapy. The blood of the patient is collected and T cells are isolated. T cells are then genetically altered to express specific receptors for binding to certain targets on the cancer cells. The generated CAR-T cells are cultivated and expanded in vitro. Finally, CAR-T cells are infused into the patient’s bloodstream to kill the tumor cells
