Analysis of the correlation between XDH expression and immune cell infiltration levels in HCC tissue using the Tumor IMmune Estimation Resource (TIMER) database. A. XDH expression had a significant positive correlation with tumor purity (rho = 0.119, p = 0.026) and CD8 + T cells (rho = 0.157, p = 0.003) and a significant negative correlation with the levels of infiltrating B cells (rho = − 0.178, p = 0.001) and DCs (rho = − 0.179, p = 0.001). B XDH was correlated with the exhausted T cell markers PDCD1 (r = 0.174, p = 1.18e−3) and CTLA4 (r = − 0.212, p = 6.96e−5)
