TSN induced apoptosis in glioma cells. a Hoechst 33342 staining was performed to detect apoptosis and the nucleic changes in U87MG and LN18 cells which were observed under a fluorescence microscope after 24 h treatment with TSN. b Flow cytometry was performed to further evaluate the effect of TSN on the apoptosis of glioma cells, which showed significant increases in the number of apoptotic cells. c Next, certain apoptosis-related proteins were detected by western blotting.
