From: FAM49B promotes breast cancer proliferation, metastasis, and chemoresistance by stabilizing ELAVL1 protein and regulating downstream Rab10/TLR4 pathway

Fig. 3

Effects of FAM49B on proliferation and migration in vitro. A Levels of FAM49B mRNA were analyzed by real time-PCR in five BC cell lines (n = 3). B MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells infected with FAM49B-shRNA lentivirus were examined by fluorescence microscopy, 3 days after infection. C FAM49B mRNA and protein expression levels were examined by real time-PCR and western blotting in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells infected with FAM49B shRNA (n = 3). pLNCX2-FAM49B or pLNCX2-vector were transfected into FAM49B-shRNA-expressing MCF-7 or MDA-MB-231 cells. Cell growth rate (D) was monitored by MTT assay in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells; E, F Cell migration was examined by wound healing assay (E) and transwell assay (F) in MDA-MB-231 cells (n = 3). Results are presented as the mean ± SD. The statistical significance was assessed by Student’s t-test; **p < 0.01
