A nomogram model was constructed based on the independent risk factors identified by multivariate logistic regression analysis. The nomogram is used to find the position of each variable on the corresponding axis. Firstly, you draw a vertical line for each of the variables of your patient to the Points axis for the score of each variable; secondly, you sum up the scores of all valuables you read on the Points scale to obtain Total Points; finally, you draw a vertical line from the Total Points axis to determine the risk of VTE at the lower line of the nomogram
