Permeabilization of the outer mitochondrial membrane of vehicle-treated (A), 2MEBM-treated MCF-12A cells (B) and MCF-12A cells treated with Actinomycin D (0.1 μg/ml) (positive control for apoptosis induction) (C) were displayed using flow cytometry and the MitoCaptureTMMitochondrial apoptosis detection kit. Mitochondrial membrane potential was statistically insignificantly affected in 3.45% when compared to 2.31% vehicle-treated cells.
