From: CD44 targets Wnt/β-catenin pathway to mediate the proliferation of K562 cells
CD44 down-regulation arrests K562 cells in the G 1 phase of cell cycle. (A) Cell cycle distribution of K562 cells before and after transfecting with CD44 shRNA. At the figures, cells were washed with PBS, and stained for DNA with propidium iodide as described in Materials and methods. Cell cycle distribution was then determined by FACS analysis. (B) Cell death distribution of K562 cells after treatment with CD44 shRNA. At the figures, cells were washed with PBS, and stained with APC-Annexin V and propidium iodide as described in Materials and methods. Cell death distribution was then determined by FACS analysis.
