From: Myricetin enhance chemosensitivity of 5-fluorouracil on esophageal carcinoma in vitro and in vivo
Myricetin enhance chemosensitivity of 5-FU on cancer cells in vitro. Cells were treated with indicated doses of myricetin and 5-FU for 48 h and colony formation assays were conducted. Chemosensitivity was measured by colony formation assay in the esophageal squamous carcinoma cell line EC9706. Compared to the control (0 μM myricetin), clonogenic survival of EC9706 cells treated with myricetin were decreased significantly under different 5-FU doses. Shown are averages of triplicate samples.
