Cholesterol depletion reduces migration efficiency of cancer cells. Mitomycin c pretreated (10 µg/ml for 30 min) 4T1 (a) and MDA MB 231 cells (b) were incubated with 5 mM MβCD for 1 h and then incubated with serum scarce media for 20 h, scratch was made and multiple images were collected in different time interval and analysed by ImageJ software (c, d).
