Co-treatment of sulbactam and doxorubicin blocked the initiation of translation in breast cancer cells. The illustration shows that treatment of the MDA-MB-468 cells with Sul (blue circles) and Dox (red circles) reduced the protein expression levels of eIF1A, eIF3, eIF4G1/3, eIF6, small 40S subunit, and large 60S subunit in the cells.
