Data from TCGA and GEO databases were collected to analyze the relationship between prognosis and the expression of VEGFR-2. TCGA data concerning 517 specimens showed poor prognosis were closely related to high expression of VEGFR-2 (p < 0.05) (a) while data from GEO demonstrated slight relationship (p = 0.07) (b). Higher expression of mRNA was found in tumoral tissues (n = 42) than in adjacent normal tissues (n = 499) when analyzing data from TCGA database. (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01)
