FTH rescues the impaired mitochondrial homeostasis upon ferroptosis. A Control or FTH overexpression HCCLM3 cells were treated with cystine-free medium, then stained by mitoTracker-Red and JC-10. The morphological changes of mitochondria and JC-10 fluorescence intensities were observed under confocal microscope (Scale bars 10 Î¼m). B Control and FTH ectopic expression cells were treated with cystine-free medium for 8 h, the mitochondrial oxygen consumption rate (OCR) was monitored by Seahorse analyzer.
