CCR2 and CXCR2 antagonists inhibited HCC by reducing neutrophils and macrophages infiltration and HPCs activation. Rats were treated as in Fig. 5. Liver sections were prepared for immunohistochemical detection of CD68, MPO, and CK19. CK19 is a specific marker for hepatic progenitor cells.
