Treatment of TNBC and epithelial cells via unmodulated (UM) and frequency-modulated (FM) TTFields after 24 h. A TNBC cells were stained with 655 Cytoplasmic Membrane Dye and DAPI. After 24 h, UM and FM TTFields show significant damaging effects. B TNBC cells also showed consistent decrease in average diameter after 24 h of UM and FM TTField treatment while epithelial cells did not experience as significant of changes. C Percent viable cells and D percent apoptotic cells for TNBC and epithelial cells were recorded after 24 h. UM and FM TTFields show significantly decreased numbers of viable cells and FM TTFields show increased rates of apoptosis within TNBC cells.
