Correlation between HCMV presence and cytokines production in CTH cultures. Pearson’s correlation between viral load and cytokine production was conducted in CTH cultures. No significant correlation was identified between IE1 gene expression and cytokines production. The X-axis represents cytokine concentration (pg/ml), and the Y-axis represents viral load as measured by IE1 detection using qPCR (copies/ml).
