(A) FOXO3a with function of inducing the pathway leading to apoptosis and regulating the cell cycle, is suppressed by miR-182 in colorectal cancer. However, lncRNA GAS5 plays a tumor suppressor role with sponging of miR-182. (B) DAB2IP tumor suppressor, which inhibits P13K/AKT/mTOR pathway, is suppressed by the oncogenic functioning of miR-182, leading to CRC cell proliferation
